They are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Surgical Unit to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to post-surgical patients, ensuring safe recovery and optimal patient outcomes.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to post-surgical patients, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient status
Administer medications, manage pain control, and perform wound care according to physician orders and clinical protocols
Monitor for post-operative complications and promptly communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
Educate patients and families on post-surgical care, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, coordinated, and high-quality patient care
Qualification
Required
1 year of RECENT (within the last 4 years) acute care RN experience
If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They'll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward
If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they'll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
