Commercial Lines Sales Manager
gpac is an award-winning search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States. They are seeking a Commercial Insurance Sales Manager responsible for managing policy sales and overseeing the sales team, including setting sales goals and facilitating team development.
Responsibilities
Setting and monitoring sales objectives
Responsible for new/renewal business production
Assisting/mentoring/recruiting new producers
Providing sales strategies, feedback, and marketing plans
Contributing to meeting sales targets
Keeping up to date with industry developments
Answering customer inquires
Mediating questions/concerns with customers and carriers
Qualification
Required
College degree preferred or comparable work experience
5+ years' experience in the commercial insurance industry with a primary focus on sales, service, and in-depth knowledge of applicable coverages
CPCU, CIC, AIS, CRIS designations a plus
Demonstrated management experience in a client service environment
Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to travel to client sites and a reliable source of transportation
A Property & Casualty License from state of domicile are required and must be maintained
Solid understanding of policies, products, servicing, and marketing of new and renewal business
Be able to provide mentorship
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent interpersonal skills
