Business Development Representative
Closers.io is a nearshore IT consulting firm headquartered in Texas that partners with mid-sized businesses to solve engineering capacity challenges. The Business Development Representative role is designed for a relationship-driven, consultative B2B seller responsible for building a pipeline through outbound prospecting and handling limited inbound opportunities.

Responsibilities
Building a pipeline through outbound prospecting (LinkedIn, HubSpot, email, cold calling) while also handling limited inbound opportunities
Selling into CTOs, COOs, CEOs, and VPs of Engineering at companies with $100M+ in annual revenue and 200+ employees
Identifying latent demand, building trust quickly, and guiding stakeholders through a multi-call, 30–90 day consultative sales cycle
Qualification
Required
Are based in Texas
Have experience selling IT, software development, or technical consulting services
Have sold into CTO / COO / VP Engineering personas
Thrive in consultative, relationship-driven sales cycles (30–90 days)
Are comfortable hunting—cold outreach, pipeline creation, and demand generation
Have a proven track record in B2B tech sales and a metrics-driven work ethic
Preferred
Existing network in the tech or IT services space
Prior experience with nearshore/offshore consulting or staff augmentation firms
Past experience working for a ParallelStaff competitor
