They are seeking a litigation associate to manage a caseload of litigated and non-litigated claims, develop case strategies, and work directly with senior management and clients.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing a caseload of litigated and non-litigated claims
Develop case strategy, review and approve pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement agreements, trial practice and more
Work directly with firm senior management and firm clients to lead matters to positive resolution
Partner with firm paralegals and support staff in producing and responding to legal demands
Attend court appearances and conduct trials

J.D. from ABA accredited law schoolAdmitted to NYS barLitigation experienceCreditor's rights experienceVerbal communicationWritten communicationTeam playerAttention to detailConfidentiality

Required

J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
Admitted to and in good standing with the NYS bar
Self-directed professional with attention to detail and ability to manage workload and prioritize appropriately
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish trusted partnerships with internal and external clients
Ability to work as a team player
Ability to maintain confidential information and acceptable standards of office and professional conduct
This position requires regular travel. Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license

Preferred

Previous litigation or creditor's rights experience is preferred but not required
Additional bar admissions also preferred but not required
