Staffing Agency Recruiter

PrideStaff is currently looking to hire a Recruiter for their Northeast Houston office. The Recruiter will connect clients and job seekers through sales and recruiting efforts, focusing on administrative, clerical, and light industrial recruitment and client development.

Responsibilities

Prepare job postings and search job boards to find qualified candidates for open positions
Screen applicant resumes and determine candidates best fit for open job opportunities
Conduct phone interviews, in person interviews and guide applicants through the onboarding process
Accurately input all necessary candidate information into applicant tracking system
To ensure quality service by handling Client and employee matters courteously, properly and efficiently
Submit properly vetted and qualified candidates to clients
Coordinate with clients in scheduling client interviews
Process employment verifications and documents in applicant tracking system
Conduct background, drug screens and reference checks on potential employees
Answer incoming telephone calls and greet visitors as required
Make sales calls to potential clients
Perform other related duties as deemed necessary by the office manager

Required

HS Diploma or GED is required for all employees
High level of computer literacy and proficiency in basic use of Microsoft Office software
Must be bilingual English / Spanish and able to read/write English fluently
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals
Ability to make decisions of sound judgment according to company policy
Ability to deal with problems involving clients or employees
Ability to review candidate experience and qualifications and client job requirements to determine best fit
Must understand and be able to interpret job postings for light industrial jobs
Must have a thorough understanding of light industrial job roles and have the ability to match candidate qualifications from resumes with job requirements
Ability to multi-task and determine where to focus efforts to best meet business priorities

Preferred

Associates degree or higher is preferred, but can be substituted by equivalent experience
Experience in Recruiting for light industrial and clerical positions is highly preferred
