Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors and service providers
Lead regular vendor performance reviews, including SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee vendor onboarding, due diligence, compliance checks, and risk assessments
Manage escalation processes for underperforming vendors and drive corrective action plans
Oversee full procurement lifecycle for hardware, software, cloud services, and IT professional services
Partner with technical teams to understand requirements and identify optimal sourcing strategies
Execute RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, evaluate proposals, and guide vendor selection processes
Ensure procurement policies, procedures, and best practices are followed across the organization
Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments to secure favorable terms and cost efficiencies
Maintain centralized vendor and contract documentation, renewal calendars, and compliance records
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Security, and other stakeholders to mitigate legal, financial, and operational risks
Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO) and identify opportunities for cost optimization
Implement and manage vendor governance frameworks and procurement process improvements
Develop and deliver regular reporting on vendor performance, spend, risks, and strategic recommendations
Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to technology IT procurement and vendor spend
Provide oversight to ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., ITIL, CPM, CIPS) preferred
5–8+ years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, sourcing, or contract management
Proven experience negotiating technology contracts (SaaS, cloud, hardware, managed services, etc.)
Strong knowledge of IT procurement processes, contract law fundamentals, and vendor governance models
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
Ability to analyze complex data, budgets, and vendor performance metrics
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Preferred

MBA or relevant certification (e.g., ITIL, CPM, CIPS)
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
