Responsibilities

Work with the founding team on product design and research
Tasks may include creating wireframes and UI mockups, conducting user or legal research, drafting documentation, and helping test prototypes
You’ll contribute creative ideas to improve usability and gather user feedback
All interns will participate in agile team meetings and gain exposure to real startup product cycles

Required

Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a legal studies, pre-law, political science, psychology, sociology, communications, or design program
Have taken classes or done projects in UX/UI or graphic design
Must be able to show examples of your design work
Strong writing, analytical, and collaboration skills
Must be able to work with a diverse group of individuals, including those with differing views and opinions

Preferred

Law and graduate students studying political science, sociology, public policy, or related social sciences are strongly encouraged to apply
Hands-on design experience (from coursework, projects, or prior internships) and a portfolio of work
Strong visual design skills (typography, color, layout) and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma, Vercel, Cursor, Supabase)
Basic programming or research experience
Coursework or experience in immigration law, public policy, or community advocacy
Remote work experience or self-starting motivation
