Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

You will organize and create documentation necessary for new applications, including job instructions, job routers, job safety analyses and standard operating procedures
In this role you will support manufacturing variance analysis (MVA) and interpret customer specification and blueprints associated with new and existing applications
Further you will Work with Quality organization to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and achieve acceptable first pass yield, as well to work as integral team member on productivity projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices
You will maintain an expertise with the process equipment in Operations and develop process parameters necessary to set up new applications with an emphasis on repeatable and efficient processes
High energy and enthusiasm for HVOF - will help bring in applications for the plant and grow the product line

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
Five to ten (5-10) years of manufacturing plant or project engineering experience required
HVOF thermal spray experience required
Proven ability to combine theoretical training with practical experience in a 'hands-on' environment

Preferred

Tooling development and CAD experience preferred
Ability to become knowledgeable on PST coating systems preferred
Lean / Six Sigma trained, green belt or black belt is preferred
