Addiction Medicine Physician- URGENT REQUIREMENT- V
LanceSoft, Inc. is a leading staffing firm in the US, seeking an experienced Addiction Medicine Medical Director to lead clinical operations. The role involves providing patient-centered care for substance use disorders while engaging in community outreach and business development.

Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
Oversee program performance metrics including patient outcomes, retention, and satisfaction
Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medication-assisted treatment (MAT) per OASAS guidelines
Monitor patients for withdrawal symptoms, side effects, and medication adherence
Collaborate with behavioral health and counseling staff to develop individualized treatment plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Educate patients on substance use disorders, relapse prevention, and harm reduction strategies
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and OASAS regulations, including reporting requirements
Participate in case conferences, quality assurance activities, and staff training
Stay current with best practices, emerging treatments, and regulatory updates in addiction medicine
Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, hospitals, treatment centers, and community agencies
Represent the clinic at community events, professional meetings, and outreach programs
Conduct educational sessions to promote clinic services and increase visibility
Strengthen referral pipelines through strategic networking and outreach initiatives
Qualification
Required
MD or DO with an active New York State medical license
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in addiction medicine or a related clinical setting
Strong knowledge of OASAS regulations and NYS substance use treatment systems
Excellent communication, clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and relationship-building skills
Commitment to providing stigma-free, patient-centered care
Preferred
Board Certification in Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine (preferred)
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; Spanish proficiency is a plus
