Responsibilities

Performs field inspection and evaluation of structures under direction of a higher-level engineer
Performs testing of materials and incorporates results into reports under direction of a higher-level engineer
Performs complex engineering computations involving conventional engineering practices under direction of a higher-level engineer
Prepares comprehensive engineering documents including inspection reports, design plans and specifications under direction of a higher-level engineer
Actively participates in internal project meetings and works to actively resolve project issues
Actively promotes a safe work culture

Required

Technical knowledge, experience, and capabilities in structural engineering
Proficiency in computer-assisted structural engineering and office software and equipment
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in the English language
Ability to define problems, collect/interpret data, evaluate facts, draw valid conclusions, and effectively communicate findings/results
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and effectively
Bachelor's degree and or Master's degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited four-year university
0-4 years of relevant structural design engineering experience
Engineer-In-Training (EIT)
Valid US Driver's License
