Responsibilities

Draft and prepare briefs, settlement offers, discovery motions, summary judgment motions, and trial filings
Take and defend depositions of witnesses, parties, and experts
Manage client communication, keeping clients informed and prepared throughout their case
Interview clients, assess facts, identify legal issues, and build effective case strategies
Negotiate favorable settlements with opposing counsel
Prepare cases for trial, including witness interviews, evidence gathering, and investigation
Represent clients in mediations, settlement conferences, and courtroom proceedings
Educate clients about their legal rights and responsibilities at each stage

Qualification

Required

Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
3+ years of experience in personal injury or general liability litigation
Trial experience strongly preferred
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable, cost-effective settlements
Proven ability to manage and prioritize a large and complex caseload
Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent communication, empathy, and emotional intelligence

Preferred

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
