Responsibilities
Electronics Testing and Evaluation: Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of a wide range of electronic devices, including computers, laptops, servers, and mobile devices. Identify and document any issues or defects and determine the overall condition and functionality of each device
Data Destruction: Follow secure and thorough data destruction procedures on all electronic devices to ensure customer data privacy and compliance with applicable data protection regulations. Utilize industry-standard data wiping tools and techniques
Resale and Wholesale Preparation: Prepare tested and data-wiped electronic devices for resale or wholesale, ensuring they are in optimal condition and properly packaged for shipment or sale
Quality Assurance: Enforce strict quality control standards to guarantee the highest quality of refurbished and resold electronics. Ensure that all devices meet the established quality criteria and perform final checks before releasing them for resale or wholesale
Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of tested, evaluated, and refurbished electronic devices. Update inventory records accurately and promptly to track device status and availability
Market Research: Stay updated on the latest trends, pricing, and demand for various electronic devices in the resale market. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize pricing and inventory strategies
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Collaborate with the repair team to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing and evaluation, ensuring that devices meet quality standards before resale
Mobile Device Evaluation: Specialize in the evaluation and testing of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. Assess their condition, functionality, and cosmetic appearance to determine appropriate resale values
Qualification
Required
Extensive knowledge of electronics components and hardware
Thorough knowledge of electronic systems and system communication
Excellent Organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills
Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records
Ability to interact professionally with customers
Knowledgeable about company's products and services, and customer-related policies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
Works well independently and inside a team environment
Ability to act as a team player
Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems

Thorough understanding of material and/or process being inspected
Must pass a background check based on R2 standards for handling sensitive data
One to two years of related experience
Must be able to regularly lift, carry and move up to 25 pounds at a time
Must be able, on occasion, to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds at a time
Able to complete physically demanding work
Good hand-eye-foot coordination and sense of balance
Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This will include climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping
Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials
Prolonged periods standing and/or walking
Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time
Must be able to work on components that are vertical, flat, or overhead
Must be able to visually inspect equipment
Excellent depth perception and reaction time
Must be able to see details at close range
Must be able to wear protective equipment for eye/ear/feet
Ability to maintain single-task focus and situational awareness
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant
Preferred
Supervisory experience
Professional designations in computer CompTIA A+ or similar
Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test
Experience safely using forklifts, lift trucks, and hand trucks
