Responsibilities
Oversees the safety of job sites and all staff
Conducts risk assessment and enforces preventative measures
Conducts CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens Training for all Staff as needed
Assists with incident investigations and corrective actions
Intervenes to stop any acts or processes which are unsafe or do not comply with EHS guidelines
Assists with reviewing and maintain existing policies and measures and update according to legislation and current practices
Establishes or creates weekly toolbox talks and ensure compliance
Assists with quarterly safety meetings to include content, coordination of meeting space, etc
Assists with coordinating guest safety speakers
Inspects job sites to identify issues and/or non-conformity
Provides regular reports and updates to the Safety Manager
Assists with identifying and developing training programs
Maintains PPE supplies and order as needed
Maintains Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Operates vehicles and other equipment safely; adheres to safety protocols; reports hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment
Qualification
Required
High School diploma and/or equivalent of education and experience
3 years' relevant experience
1-3 years' experience in instruction or teaching minimum CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens (or other form of instruction)
Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, PPT, Teams, Procore, and other programs as needed
Receive and maintains CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens Instructor certification. (Other Certifications as required)
Preferred
Bachelors of Science in Occupational Safety or (4 years) equivalent work experience
Construction experience
OSHA 510 (OSHA 30, OSHA 500)
