Autonomous ISR Systems Engineering IPT Lead
KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. The role involves managing and coordinating efforts to solve system level challenges related to ISR missions, focusing on autonomy, sensors, and data analysis, while supporting the Air Force Research Lab.

Responsibilities
Help manage the Agile software development process, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones
Organize and run Sprint Demos and Sprint Reviews to showcase progress and gather feedback
Lead the Capability Roadmap process to define and prioritize project goals
Lead the software product delivery process including the packaging and deployment of source code & binaries, software documentation, test documents and other related artifacts
Support the architecture and design of autonomous functionality achieving mission effects
Coordinate technical interactions within the team to ensure seamless collaboration
Lead technical investigations and technical interchange meetings to address project challenges
Support technical engagements with related projects within AFRL and AFLCMC
Support Test and Evaluation and demonstration efforts by coordinating IPTs and technical details
Lead KBR's team in supporting AFRL's R&D efforts, ensuring alignment with project objectives
Advise and support the Chief Engineer on technical issues and challenges
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 15 years of experience in program management or systems engineering
Proven experience with Agile software development processes
Strong background in autonomous systems, ISR operations, and military sensor technology
Experience with current UAV systems and software development
Proficiency in MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) and modeling and simulation
Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience with AFRL and AFLCMC projects
Experience on fast-paced innovation and development programs
Familiarity with defense and aerospace industry standards and regulations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and technical writing abilities
