Child Psychiatrist- Direct Offer
LanceSoft, Inc. is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US, and they are seeking a compassionate and board-certified Child Psychiatrist to join their mental health team in Klamath Falls. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders in children and adolescents, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure effective care.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
Diagnose and treat conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, and bipolar disorder
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide psychotherapy (individual, group, and family) and prescribe/manage medications
Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, pediatricians, and educators
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate and counsel families on mental health conditions and treatment options
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR systems
Participate in crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care
Stay current with advancements in child psychiatry and participate in continuing education
Qualification
Required
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of a psychiatry residency and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry
Board certification (or eligibility) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Valid Oregon medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong understanding of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based treatment modalities
Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
Experience with trauma-focused therapy, CBT, and neurodevelopmental disorders
Familiarity with telepsychiatry platforms and virtual care
Multilingual abilities are a plus
