Press Die Setter B: 1st shift

American Trim is a company focused on manufacturing quality parts, and they are seeking a Press Die Setter to ensure the proper setup and maintenance of dies. The role involves monitoring production quality and performing minor maintenance tasks to support the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

Setting up dies, making adjustments, changing or taking out dies as jobs conclude. Making sure dies are secured, tight and running safely and precisely to produce quality parts

Checks first five pieces of every run and measures against Statistical Process Control charts to be sure they are meeting all the required specifications and are free of any blemishes, marks, etc. Gage to proper standards of that product center. (i.e. PC 4 - Last piece, Mylar, end Mylar)

Performs minor maintenance on dies, i.e. replacing broken hoses, fittings, etc

Work on preventative maintenance orders under the direction of qualified tool room personnel

Maintains a clean and safe work environment

Other job duties as assigned by supervisor as they relate to die setting
