Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service by resolving inquiries, issues, or complaints, collaborating with the team to deliver effective solutions
Provide back-up and support with the multi-step order processing system to ensure efficiency
Support sales team with communication to distributors or direct accounts, including new account set up, new item set up, seasonal item communication, promotions, incentive tracking
Provide outside sales teams with administrative customer support by performing customer outreach, sending marketing and informational materials, and communicating customer issues
Organize and communicate product promotions to customers, co-manage department marketing calendar with Business Admin Manager
Provide administrative assistance to the Sales Director on key account activities and ensure smooth operation of sales processes
Qualification
Required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Solid understanding of the sales process
Proficiency in Word and Excel
Ability to provide excellent customer service by resolving inquiries, issues, or complaints
Ability to provide back-up and support with the multi-step order processing system
Ability to support sales team with communication to distributors or direct accounts
Ability to provide outside sales teams with administrative customer support
Ability to organize and communicate product promotions to customers
Ability to provide administrative assistance to the Sales Director on key account activities
Preferred
Food Industry experience working for a distributor
