This role involves leading smoking cessation initiatives and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance tobacco control efforts across the state.

Responsibilities
Direct and manage evidence-based cessation programs designed to reduce tobacco and nicotine use across the state
Convene and collaborate with public health partners, community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to build capacity and strengthen statewide tobacco control efforts
Utilize epidemiologic data and program evaluation to inform strategies, monitor progress, and ensure accountability in reducing tobacco-related burden
Align program goals with TDH priorities, and national best practices to maximize impact on population health
Qualification
Required
Strong leadership skills
Strategic planning skills
Communication skills
Experience in managing evidence-based cessation programs
Ability to engage and collaborate with public health partners, community organizations, and healthcare providers
Experience in utilizing epidemiologic data and program evaluation
