Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of equipment
Facility upkeep including minor plumbing, light carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance
Perform minor repairs on rooftop HVAC systems
Assist in diagnosing electronic issues by checking wiring, power supplies, and controllers
Determine whether external electrical/electronic components are functioning properly before venting and inspecting internal chamber components
PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience is a plus but not required
Troubleshooting may be performed with or without schematics
Provide maintenance support for equipment and facility systems
Perform preventative maintenance (e.g., pump oil changes)
Repair failed equipment requiring dismantling and rebuilding of:
Mechanical pumps
Vacuum and diffusion pumps
Rotation assemblies and drive systems
Pneumatic air cylinders for seal replacement
Respond to emergency off-shift situations as required
Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair chemical vapor deposition chambers and associated support equipment
Perform preventive maintenance and performance testing on analog, digital, temperature, chemical, and vacuum-related equipment
Support maintenance of closed-loop water systems and associated refrigeration/chilling units
Maintain proper water flow to ensure chamber cooling
Clear clogged water lines, maintain water softening systems, and replace water filters
Qualification
Required
Some college coursework, equivalent experience, or trade certifications
Minimum of five years' experience as a Multi-Trade Technician
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladders, including rooftop access
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and understand control schematics
Knowledge of safety and lockout/tagout procedures
All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S
Excellent communication skills

Preferred
Preferred experience with refrigeration equipment
EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification preferred (not required)
Welding and plumbing experience preferred
Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (preferred)
Mechanical experience: 5 years (preferred)
