Brilliant® is partnering with a growing, privately held manufacturing organization to add a Financial Analyst to its finance and accounting team. The role involves evaluating financial information to create models and forecasts, assisting in budgeting and performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

Analyze Financial Data: Evaluate historical and current financial information to create financial models and forecasts
Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments such as accounting, purchasing, and logistics to ensure business goals are aligned with financial performance
Profitability Analysis: Conduct financial and profitability analysis of new products, projects, or initiatives
Business Planning: Assist in the preparation and review of business plans, financial projections, and investment proposals
Compliance: Participate in audits and internal control assessments to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or a related industry
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

Preferred

Working knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and manufacturing financial processes a big plus
