Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy backend integrations, frontend dashboards, and automation workflows using L2L Connect, FlowEngine, L2L Studio, and APIs
Implement machine data connectivity using standard industrial protocols (MQTT, OPC UA) to enable real-time data flow into the L2L platform
Architect solutions aligned to customer use cases, ensuring scalability, security, and long-term reliability
Write clean, maintainable code and participate in solution and code reviews to uphold engineering best practices
Apply thorough testing (unit and integration) to ensure first-time-right delivery and graceful recovery from failures
Document solutions clearly, including technical diagrams, configuration guides, and handoff documentation
Manage scoped project work by tracking tasks, timelines, and risks, and communicating progress and blockers clearly
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Node-RED, JavaScript, SQL, L2L APIs, Vue.js, and CSS
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and data integration
Working knowledge of industrial networking and integration protocols, including MQTT and OPC UA
Ability to design and own technical solutions end-to-end
Clear communicator with strong documentation and consulting skills
Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams
Preferred
L2L practices a remote-first approach while offering office space in Burlington, MA. Due to the collaborative nature of this role, we are looking for someone who lives in the EST, CST or MST time zone
