Required

Current clean driver's license
Must have a Journeyman Electrical License
High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent training
5 years of electrical experience
Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat and cold)
Willing to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, with potential overtime and occasional night shifts
Ability to identify conductor colors
Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
Competent in using all power tools
Capable of digging trenches with hand tools or power equipment
Troubleshooting 3 phase lighting circuits
Setting light poles
Underground fault locating
Knowledgeable in safe work procedures as per company policies
Skilled in operating two-handed tools such as cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and jackhammers
Ability to operate company trucks with automatic transmissions
Proficient in reading and interpreting maps, manuals, specifications, work site directions, blueprints, and written instructions
Experienced in operating and working from personal lifts (gas or electric powered)
Capable of operating equipment such as trenchers, backhoes, and lift trucks safely
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead
Capability to lift 51 pounds
Ability to climb all types of ladders
Capacity to complete overhead work for full-day assignments
Possess good vision (normal or corrected)

Preferred

1 year of roadway lighting experience, preferred
Bucket Truck Experience: (will train)
Safety Training: OSHA 10 certification
Work Zone: Intermediate (will train)
CDL: Class A or B (will train)
MOT Certification, TTCM (will train)
