Responsibilities
Lead the design goal for new YouTube Comments viewer and creator experiences, including defining and advocating progressive, AI-motivated features that prioritize safety and transparency
Own and execute the design process, translate product goals into deliverables like mocks, wireframes, and prototypes
Manage design works across multiple projects and communicate priorities to the team, overseeing the design and execution of all assigned experiences
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering partners to build a shared, user-centered product goal for Comments, aligning on reasonable, iterative steps for development
Drive product innovation through ideation, concept development, and user testing, while contributing to User Experience (UX) culture that values feedback
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
6 years of experience with interaction design in product design or UX design
Experience in building solutions with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies
Include a portfolio, website, or any other related link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions)
Preferred
Experience in navigating ambiguity and landscapes
Experience with working on global products and designing for user bases
Experience in leading and collaborating in design direction
Experience with design and prototyping tools like Figma
Experience with consumer-facing and mobile first products
