Responsibilities
Spend significant time at aggregate facilities to understand mining operations, equipment, and material processing
Complete a defined project that supports business needs and develops technical/analytical skills
Work with geologists and operations teams on mine planning, production tracking, and quality initiatives
Compile and analyze production data, prepare reports, and assist in problem-solving
Handle sensitive information with integrity and maintain a strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a Mining Engineering Bachelor's degree program
Strong analytical and quantitative skills (basic math and data analysis)
Effective written and verbal communication
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn industry software (AutoCAD, mine planning tools, etc.)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
Willingness to travel as needed
