Responsibilities
Properly inspect utility poles by visually looking for holes and damage to identify work
Execute work orders to tend poles by drilling and filling holes with the proper material
Understand and practice all safety measures to ensure job site safety
Maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including, hammers, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more
Every day there is something new to do!
Qualification
Required
Love of the outdoors
Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training
Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
Required: valid driver's license
Preferred
Commercial Driver's License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
pole test and treat experience or other related work
relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional®
