Responsibilities

Performs Logistics Functions Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure the accuracy of logistics documents. Handle import/export procedures, transportation arrangements, and schedule management. Prepare and manage B/L (Bill of Lading), L/C (Letter of Credit), and customs-related documents. Track shipment status and communicate promptly with related parties, including customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal staff
Performs Inventory Control Functions Manage delivery and shipping schedules to maintain appropriate inventory levels
Provides Customer Service Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person. Respond to inquiries, handle complaints, and adjust delivery schedules. Track shipments and provide prompt, professional support to maintain customer satisfaction
Performs General Administrative Duties Handle incoming and outgoing mail, phone calls, and faxes. Organize documents, make copies, greet visitors, and perform other administrative duties as needed

Required

Ability to effectively respond to questions from Management, Staff, clients, and the general public in English
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to individuals and groups in English
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to apply knowledge and sense of understanding to carry-out detailed written or oral instructions
Ability to analyze and use various documents (contracts, purchase orders, etc.)
Ability to use a computer and such applications as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and be able to design custom reports as necessary
Must be tactful, mature, flexible and able to successfully respond to multiple work pressures

Japanese skills are preferred, but not required
