Responsibilities
Create 2D and 3D CAD drawings for construction, fabrication, and project closeout packages
Produce fully coordinated 3D mechanical models, installation drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-builts
Prepare equipment schedules, isometrics, and mechanical construction documents
Participate in coordination meetings with project managers, superintendents, and foremen
Work closely with other trades, reviewing partition plans and reflected ceiling plans to prevent jobsite conflicts
Travel to project sites for field verification, scanning, layout, and team coordination
Maintain high levels of accuracy, detail, and accountability in your work
Qualification
Required
3+ years of mechanical drafting or modeling experience
Understanding of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems
Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360
AutoCAD MEP, or Revit experience
Ability to read and interpret construction documents
Preferred
Associate Degree in Drafting Technology (or related field) preferred
Experience with BIM modeling or 3D scanning is a bonus
