Direct Counsel is working with an elite Am Law 100 firm seeking a junior to senior associate to join its nationally recognized Antitrust and Competition team. This role offers associates the chance to work on high-impact matters at the forefront of antitrust law.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in government investigations, enforcement actions, and complex civil antitrust litigation
Manage all stages of litigation including discovery, pretrial motions, and case strategy
Interact with enforcement agencies such as the DOJ and FTC, as well as state attorneys general
Conduct internal investigations and advise clients on antitrust compliance
Collaborate across teams and offices in a dynamic, fast-paced practice

Required

1–8 years of experience in antitrust/competition law from a leading law firm, government agency, or clerkship
Substantive experience in either civil antitrust litigation or government investigations is required
Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
Must be admitted, or eligible to be admitted, to practice in the jurisdiction in which you reside

Preferred

Experience working with or appearing before the FTC, DOJ, or other regulatory bodies is strongly preferred
Clerkship experience and/or an academic background in economics or related fields is a plus
