Benefits Compliance Specialist
Sparks Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Compliance Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will support annual nondiscrimination testing and ensure compliance documentation meets regulatory standards through effective communication and data management.

Responsibilities
Manage the intake and tracking of annual nondiscrimination testing data. Review daily reports to identify discrepancies and coordinate directly with external stakeholders to resolve missing or conflicting information
Use internal systems to route, monitor, and track documents under review, ensuring all milestones are met and approvals are secured within regulatory deadlines
Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries regarding compliance documentation. Provide accurate information based on established resources or escalate complex issues to subject matter experts
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, including onsite and offsite storage. Ensure all compliance documents are scanned, filed, and tracked in accordance with records retention schedules
Maintain strict confidentiality and security of sensitive information, adhering to all internal policies and HIPAA Privacy and Security guidelines
Provide ongoing administrative assistance to the broader Retirement and Group Benefits teams to ensure steady-state operational success
Qualification
Required
Exceptional accuracy in data entry and document review
Ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks and adapt to shifting schedules to meet strict regulatory deadlines
Professional verbal and written skills for clear interaction with employees, vendors, and external partners
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the ability to navigate complex database systems
A team-player mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders
