Patriot Technical Manual and Training Lead

Responsibilities

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute installation and fielding of equipment modifications and upgrades
Provide technical proficiency to the customer and program leadership
Participate in peer reviews for updates to Patriot hardware and software engineering modernization
Provide technical leadership and direction for the planning, preparation, and execution of New Equipment Training (NET), TM development, Logistics Demonstrations and other program requirements
Serve as communications liaison between Customer, Program Management, Engineering, and Publications team
Manage applicable portion of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with required tasks, milestones, and dependencies
Coordinate / attend Customer, Subcontractor, and Raytheon working groups to discuss TM/Training issues and/or events
Manage regular Integrated Process Team (IPT) Meetings to discuss status, budget, events, and/or issues
Coordinate / support all Safety and Engineering Peer Reviews of developed content
Coordinate / support all training conducts and TM validation requirements and events
Support / attend Customer/Contractor Reviews and collect/track Customer satisfaction data
Ensure stakeholder alignment by enabling data flow and cooperation between various involved teams to include but not limited to Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Program Office, Customer entities and the performing TM and Training teams
Establish/maintain Cost Controls, Variance Analysis Reports to manage Earned Value cost and schedule metrics within defined parameters
Ensure leadership and stakeholders remain up-to-date on program status and performance via monthly status reports and briefings

Required

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Experience with the operation and/or maintenance of the Patriot Missile System or other comparable DoD weapon system
Experience with Joint Operations, Defense Planning or Battalion Operations
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project
Knowledge of the Army's wholesale and retail supply systems, Army readiness reporting system, Army publications system and Army maintenance concepts or comparable DoD systems
Experience with Army Logistics and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) programs
BOE Certification or experience working proposals and EAC Reviews
Experience with the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process
Experience leading projects consisting of cross functional teams from design to evaluation, and adapt to changing needs and priorities over the program lifecycle
Experience with designing and developing technical documentation and/or providing technical instruction for DoD customers
