Office Manager & Accounting Specialist
NCC Talent Solutions is partnering with a growing CDMO startup in San Diego to bring on an Office Manager & Accountant. This role is responsible for day-to-day office operations and accounting coordination, ensuring smooth internal operations while supporting accurate financial processes.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Oversee expense reporting, reimbursements, and corporate card programs
Coordinate payroll processing through a third-party provider (PEO or payroll vendor)
Maintain general ledger accuracy in partnership with an outsourced CPA or accounting firm
Support monthly close activities and provide required documentation to finance partners
Track vendor contracts, invoices, and payment schedules
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation as needed
Own day-to-day office operations, including supplies, vendors, and service providers
Coordinate facilities needs (repairs, access, safety, office setup)
Support onboarding and offboarding logistics (equipment, badges, workspace readiness)
Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related questions and needs
Ensure the office environment supports productivity, compliance, and collaboration
Qualification
Required
Typically requires 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, office management or operations roles
Hands-on experience with AP/AR, expense management, and payroll coordination with external vendor
Familiarity with accounting systems
