Litigation Paralegal (Hybrid)
Career Consulting Partners is a nationally recognized multi-jurisdictional law firm dedicated exclusively to probate litigation. They are seeking a Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in probate court matters to join their San Diego office, where the role involves managing substantive casework and providing comprehensive trial support to attorneys.

Responsibilities
Draft court filings, including pleadings, motions, and supporting documents
Prepare and respond to discovery, including drafting requests and responses
Draft subpoenas and manage all related follow-up with third parties
Gather, organize, and maintain client documents and case materials
Prepare and organize incoming and outgoing document productions
Create detailed indices of client, opposing party, and third-party documents
Develop case timelines and chronologies
Prepare exhibits for depositions, mediations, and hearings
Assemble trial documents, exhibit binders, witness lists, and other trial-related materials
Provide comprehensive trial support to attorneys during all phases of litigation
Conduct research on procedural rules and substantive law, including cite checking, Shepardizing, and Bluebooking
Perform other clerical and administrative duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong background in probate court matters
Experience in litigation-focused paralegal work
Ability to draft court filings, including pleadings, motions, and supporting documents
Experience preparing and responding to discovery, including drafting requests and responses
Ability to draft subpoenas and manage all related follow-up with third parties
Skill in gathering, organizing, and maintaining client documents and case materials
Experience preparing and organizing incoming and outgoing document productions
Ability to create detailed indices of client, opposing party, and third-party documents
Skill in developing case timelines and chronologies
Experience preparing exhibits for depositions, mediations, and hearings
Ability to assemble trial documents, exhibit binders, witness lists, and other trial-related materials
Experience providing comprehensive trial support to attorneys during all phases of litigation
Ability to conduct research on procedural rules and substantive law, including cite checking, Shepardizing, and Bluebooking
Willingness to perform other clerical and administrative duties as needed
