Manager of Critical Care CVICU RN

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Manager of Critical Care (CVICU RN) for a top healthcare client in Dallas, TX. This leadership role oversees daily operations of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), supporting patient-centered care and high clinical standards.

Logistics & Supply Chain

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate nursing care delivery in the CVICU, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and evidence-based practices
Lead staff development, scheduling, and evaluation to maintain a high-performing and engaged team
Collaborate with physicians, ECMO specialists, and interdisciplinary leaders to optimize patient outcomes
Develop and recommend policies, programs, and initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of care
Maintain effective communication channels with staff, administration, and medical teams
Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and department expansion efforts
Promote professional growth, mentorship, and continuous quality improvement

Qualification

CVICU leadership experienceRegistered Nurse (RN) licenseBLSACLS certificationsClinical knowledge in cardiovascular nursingCommunication skillsProblem-solving skillsMentoring ability

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
Minimum of 4 years of recent acute care CVICU/ICU leadership experience required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or Compact State required
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
Proven ability to lead complex critical care operations
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Strong clinical knowledge in cardiovascular and intensive care nursing
Ability to mentor staff and drive team engagement

Preferred

advanced degree preferred
CCRN and/or CNRN preferred
