Responsibilities
Receive incoming materials in accordance with defined procedures, ensuring accuracy and quality
Coordinate shipping needs with Contracts, Production Control, Quality, and Production teams
Pack and prepare outgoing shipments to prevent damage during transit
Load outgoing freight and arrange transportation with freight carriers
Maintain a clean, organized shipping office, dock area, and warehouse
Monitor and manage shipping/receiving supplies
Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and operate power equipment safely
Assist staff with moving heavy materials manually or using equipment
Back up the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and support all dock operations
Step in as needed to support receiving, shipping, warehouse, or other departments
Qualification
Required
Clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written, English required)
Strong computer skills and data entry proficiency
High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, and during peak workload periods
Experience operating stand-up forklifts (reach trucks), forklifts, and power tools
Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to manage competing priorities and work with both internal teams and external partners
Documented U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident status
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of inbound/outbound dock operations experience
This is a lead-level role—candidates must be capable of backing up the supervisor and possess advanced skills in computer systems, power equipment, and shipping/receiving operations
