Responsibilities

Perform flux-core arc welding (FCAW) and MIG welding on structural steel
Read and interpret steel fabrication drawings and welding symbols
Layout, measure, and fit structural components prior to welding
Fabricate and assemble steel structures according to specifications
Work safely and efficiently while meeting quality standards
Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Work independently with minimal direction while contributing to team goals

Required

Minimum 3 years of experience in structural steel welding and fabrication
Strong hands-on experience with Fluxcore (FCAW) and MIG welding
Proven ability to read blueprints, layouts, and weld symbols
Quick thinker with problem-solving skills; self-starter who needs little supervision
Physically able to handle shop environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs)
