The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and shop equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain production and shop equipment in satisfactory condition under the direction of the Equipment Maintenance Manager
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment faults
Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities as required to ensure equipment reliability
Document all repairs, parts usage, and PMs in the CMMS or similar maintenance software
Install, align, and calibrate mechanical and electrical components as needed
Use precision tools such as calipers, multimeters, and alignment devices for diagnostics
Support continuous improvement efforts and perform other duties as assigned

Required

Associate's degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, or related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, or electromechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or field service environment

Preferred

Experience as a manufacturing equipment or field technician
Strong understanding of PLCs, sensors, VFDs, motors, and control systems
Familiarity with electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
Equivalent experience, military training, or vocational education may be considered
