Purchasing Assistant
F.E. Moran Group of Companies is a specialized business offering a full spectrum of services including Fire Protection. They are seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support their Fire Protection departments, focusing on administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
Complete purchasing, administrative, operational, data entry, and project support functions
Input and produce purchase orders, invoices, and other items and follow-up on payments
Prepare, compile, and/or review business contracts, bid packages, lien wavers and vendor agreements, with required subsequent documentation, ensuring completeness, timeliness, and accuracy
Enter data into multiple systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy; maintain and update service logs, inspection reports, and safety requirements
Lift/move inventory up to 50lbs.; kneel, squat, climb, bend, and stoop to reach materials
Qualification
Required
Strong data entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, email, and ERP systems
Ability to utilize office equipment, such as phones, copiers, scanners, and printers
High school diploma or equivalent required
Effectively collaborate with and support team members both in office and field operations
Demonstrate time management skills and the ability to work on a variety of projects and meet deadlines
Possess a valid driver's license with a clear driving record
Able to travel to branch offices as required
Lift/move inventory up to 50lbs
Kneel, squat, climb, bend, and stoop to reach materials
Preferred
Previous office experience preferred but not required
