They are seeking a skilled Endocrinologist to join their compassionate healthcare team, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities to provide exceptional primary and preventative care to outpatient populations.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients through conversations, interviews, and observations
Administer patient tests or request testing/lab work, and analyze patient data and results
Diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders
Collaborate with the patient’s physicians and medical staff to determine appropriate treatment
Set patient goals, discuss treatment plans, and establish timelines and tasks
Prescribe medications and monitor patient intake
Document patient records and progress, including symptoms, medications, and treatments
Counsel patients, listen to their reactions to treatment, and offer emotional support
Educate patients, their families, and other relevant parties about progress, treatment, and future goals
Qualification
Required
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Endocrinology
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
Successful completion of an approved Endocrinology residency training program
Active New York State Medical Practitioner License
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription writing
Preferred
Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus but not a requirement
