Responsibilities
Lead and manage a dynamic Hospital Medicine team (full-time leadership role)
Oversee inpatient care quality, safety, and efficiency
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to implement best practices
Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
Support recruitment, retention, and staff development
Utilize Epic EMR for efficient documentation and workflow
Work 40–50 hours/week (Mon–Fri) — NO weekends, NO call!
Qualification
Required
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active NY Medical License (or willingness to obtain)
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an acute care setting
Clean malpractice and license history
No visa sponsorship available
Not accepting Locum Tenens or new graduates
