Responsibilities
Define, evolve, and operationalize the enterprise data governance and AI governance strategy, aligned to business outcomes, regulatory expectations, and technology roadmaps
Design and implement a scalable Data Governance Operating Model encompassing roles, responsibilities, processes, decision rights, and KPIs
Evaluate, recommend, and implement AI governance tools and platforms, including model governance, monitoring, and compliance solutions
Provide thought leadership on the data and AI governance technology ecosystem, trends, and vendor capabilities
Design and operationalize AI governance frameworks, including: AI risk assessment and classification, Model lifecycle governance, Human-in-the-loop processes, Bias, fairness, explainability, and transparency controls
Define AI governance processes aligned with evolving internal policies and external regulatory standards
Partner with legal, risk, compliance, security, and technology teams on AI governance controls and accountability models
Lead and deliver Data and AI governance maturity assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and gap analyses across business units
Drive enterprise-wide adoption of governance standards through change management, communication, and enablement
Willingly play multiple 'hat roles' as needed—strategy lead, solution architect, program manager, and hands-on implementer
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and scaling enterprise-wide data governance programs
Hands-on experience deploying data governance solutions using leading platforms such as Informatica IDMC, Collibra, Alation, Ataccama, Atlan, and Microsoft Purview
Strong expertise in AI governance, including operating models, AI use case and model inventories, responsible and ethical AI frameworks, agent guardrails, and alignment with EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, and NIST standards
Must have experience with leading AI governance tools: Watsonx.governance, Credo.ai etc
