They are seeking an Infertility Financial Counselor to assist patients with financial options, verify benefits, and provide ongoing financial education throughout their care journey.

Responsibilities
Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage and financial options
Know how to perform aspects of benefit verification and prior authorizations
Provide ongoing financial education and assistance to our patients throughout the continuum of their care, as and educator, advocate, and liaison
Review insurance information (verified by the insurance benefit coordinator) with the patients when applicable for all services to be rendered
Schedule financial consultations (by phone or in person) with patients before starting any IVF procedures
Verify with patients that payments must be made before the start of any treatment
Provide back up support to other billing team members as needed
Return all patients calls/reply to emails within 24 hours
Responsible to help resolve any patient’s billing inquires and financial questions
Qualification
Required
High school graduate
Excellent interpersonal skills required to communicate with departments, employees, physicians, managers, patients, and insurance companies
Ability to organize and follow through on own initiative
Strong oral and written communication skills, independent worker, detailed-oriented, computer savvy
Proficient with Microsoft programs, specifically Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
EOB, ICD-10, CPT codes, and A/R knowledge
High level of customer service essential
Preferred
Experienced biller in OB/GYN and infertility preferred
