Responsibilities

Perform Rocket Motor Qualification testing and Hazard Classification planning and execution
Integrate Systems: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact
Core Systems Engineering: Update, develop, maintain, and improve requirements, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces
Conduct/create documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which may include Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Engineering Safety Review Boards (ESRB’s)
Document and Communicate results to leadership and stakeholders
Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards with the ability to identify concerns, suggest solutions, and follow through to closure
This position may require up to 10% travel during periods that include field test execution

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Experience in Rocket Motor testing and/or Hazard Classification standards and guidelines
Experience with test related reviews (Example: CTS, TRR & ESRB's)
Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Preferred

Experience with hardware and software integration, preferably on military platforms
Experience with lab environment, electrical troubleshooting, utilization of lab equipment and hardware builds
Experience with Coyote flight test operations and/or execution on a rapid turn/fast paced program
Experience working with Customer and Industry Partners
Ability to create integration and verification strategies/procedures
Experience delivering presentations to leadership, collaborating across functional teams and organizations (internal and external), effective planning, and organizational skills
