Equahire is a growing PE-backed residential HVAC and plumbing company seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to own the general ledger and lead the monthly close. The role involves transitioning from QuickBooks to Sage Intacct and supporting leadership with accurate financial reporting.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Lead monthly close: journal entries, reconciliations, accruals
Prepare financial statements and variance reports
Manage day-to-day AP/AR and cash flow tracking
Drive ERP implementation (QuickBooks to Sage Intacct)
Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain internal controls
Support budgeting, audit prep, and process improvements

Required

3–5+ years accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
