Men's Buying Internship (Summer 2026)

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Men's Buying Intern for Summer 2026 who will assist with various office and buying duties. The intern will engage in the buying process, vendor correspondence, and product development while promoting the company's image and providing high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a complete understanding of the Buckle image, philosophy and goals in order to promote that image to Guests and teammates
Develop familiarity with the Men’s Merchandising job orientation and education guide
Possess knowledge of basic office and computer programs and store knowledge
Correspond with vendors /sale representatives to get a basic understanding of daily communication
Build minimal multi-category awareness and interaction/communication and work closely with a variety of Teammates
Study all steps of the buying process, including the fit process, vendor correspondence, reading reports, product development, product reviews, writing purchase orders and the approval process
Assist with the organization and filing of merchandise related paperwork
Assist with the preparation and follow-up for the selection of product and the placing of buys for a variety of categories
Maintain professional communication and work closely with internal Teammates
Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit
Special projects and other duties as assigned

Required

Currently pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
