General Manager

Confidential company is seeking a hands-on General Manager to take ownership of a technician- and sales-driven service and installation business. The role involves stabilizing operations, improving sales execution, and driving profitable growth in a primarily B2C environment, while also enhancing B2B relationships.

Responsibilities

Proven experience leading a B2C service and installation business, (HVAC, plumbing, garage doors, electrical, pest control), with demonstrated success driving residential growth and improving sales performance
Hands-on experience improving sales execution in a high-volume, customer-facing environment, including pricing strategy, discounting, promotions, lead conversion, and outbound sales activity
Experience supporting or directly managing B2B and outside sales efforts tied to installation work, such as relationships with builders, contractors, or trade partners, while balancing B2C homeowner demand
Demonstrated success owning full P&L responsibility within a technician-based service and installation model, including labor management, margin optimization, and cost control
A track record of stabilizing and scaling service operations by implementing structure, accountability, and disciplined processes across technicians, scheduling, inventory, and field execution

Required

Experience selling direct B2C, residential and adjacent spaces - contractors, builders, etc. No retail
