Principal Systems Engineer - Deputy I&T Test Lead

Responsibilities

Perform flight test planning and ensure all program SI&T activities are correctly scheduled, resourced, and effectively supported to meet program and customer milestones
Lead will be responsible for the manpower planning and growth of the Integration & Test team as well as proposal and planning efforts
Manage a team of SI&T engineers that will support development efforts, launcher integration events, and program flight tests for the Coyote Effector
Make cost and schedule decisions to meet monthly and annual reporting requirements
Conduct/create documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which may include Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Engineering Safety Review Boards (ESRB’s)
Document and Communicate results to leadership and stakeholders
This position may require up to 25% travel during periods that include field test execution

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with test planning and/or test execution
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and/or Cost Account Manager (CAM)
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Experience as Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) or team member of an Integrated Product Team
Experience working with Customer and Industry Partners
Ability to gain PM cert within six months of starting the position
Experience with hardware and software integration, preferably on military platforms
Ability to create integration and verification strategies/procedures and reviews (CTS, TRR, & ESRBs)
Experience delivering presentations to leadership, collaborating across functional teams and organizations (internal and external), effective planning, and organizational skills
