Regional Account Director
Datavail is a leading provider of data management, application development, analytics, and cloud services. The Regional Account Director role is focused on generating new sales and building relationships with clients and prospects within a defined geographic territory, leveraging Datavail’s expertise in database administration and analytics.

Responsibilities
Network, build relationships and establish Datavail’s credibility with clients, prospects and Alliance Partners
Follow a systematic approach to the sales cycle
Work well across internal teams: business development, sales, solution architects, subject matter experts, project management and service delivery management
Drive revenue within a specified region, including some named accounts
Generate business opportunities through professional networking
Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure
Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal forecasting system
Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual goals and quotas
Maintain account and opportunity status in a timely manner in SalesForce.com
Ensure high customer satisfaction on all sales and presales engagements
Partner with Datavail delivery to ensure high customer satisfaction on contracted engagements and properly escalate issues internally at Datavail
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in solution-selling IT Services
10+ years of Sales experience with at least 5 years' experience in solution-selling IT services (managed services and professional services)
Specific depth of experience in one or more of our core offerings (DB Administration, Analytics, App Dev, ERP & Cloud Services)
A track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
Interpersonal skills, strong work ethic & resilience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast pace, rapid change environment
Proven sales hunter and closer
Proven track record of sales excellence
Ability to close business over the phone and with travel on an as need basis for meetings with prospects and existing clients
Superior professional presence and business acumen
Experience with SalesForce.com or other CRM
Preferred
Prior experience selling database consulting services, data analytics solutions, ongoing application development services, cloud services
Cloud Certifications
PostgreSQL administration, database migration, AWS, Azure, leadership, client interaction, other DBMS, Oracle, Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, Azure Flexible Server, Timescale experience or exposure
