Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

Build and segment target audiences: Create high-quality invite lists and audience segments for partner campaigns and events, working closely with Alliance Managers and partners
Follow up and qualify leads: Act quickly on inbound leads from events and campaigns, qualify opportunities using frameworks such as BANT or CHAMP, and schedule next steps with Account Executives
Deliver product demonstrations: Run standard Sage product demos and support early pre-sales conversations with partners and prospects
Pipeline Health: Keep alliance-sourced opportunities moving, maintain strong CRM hygiene and track pipeline progression through to handoff
Manage partner data & attribution: Ensure clean CRM data, resolve duplicates and maintain accurate partner attribution to protect reporting and pipeline integrity
Support partner & field events: Coordinate logistics for alliance and field events, manage booth and materials readiness

Required

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience of working towards targets
Familiarity with operating computer software/programs
Experience in a lead-generating sales role
Basic understanding of sales framework (e.g.; BANT or SPIN)
