Recruiter/Human Resources Generalist

Datamax Inc is seeking a Human Resources Generalist with a focus on recruiting. This role provides broad HR support, driving recruitment, engagement, retention, and onboarding processes while supporting ongoing HR initiatives and special projects.

Responsibilities

Support ongoing HRIS maintenance and data integrity
Administer and maintain all HR functions, including personnel files, payroll changes, performance documentations, and employee records within HRIS
Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
Assist with planning and executing company events
Update human resources policies and procedures
Assist with annual performance review and merit increase processes
Serve as confidential and trusted resource for employees and management alike
Contribute to HR projects as assigned
Collaborate with branch managers to assess staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies
Conduct initial phone interviews and screenings
Coordinate and schedule on-site interviews, with hiring managers
Conducts and oversee onboarding activities, including preboarding and welcome communications
Facilitates new hire orientation, creates and manages all orientation schedules across all branches to ensure consistent and productive onboarding and training
Conduct exit interviews and onboarding survey data to identify trends and action items
Visit branches regularly to meet with management teams and employees to understand workplace dynamics, identify staffing trends
Work with leadership to minimize turnover
Assist in the preparation of offer letters, background checks, and new hire documentation

Required

4-6 years of experience working in a Human Resources department and/or recruitment
Strong communications skills
Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities
Actively participates in the team and can provide feedback and solutions; listens and responds constructively to other's concerns
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
High attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now a plus
