Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 2,000 hourly employees across multiple states and countries
Ensure accuracy of timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies promptly
Calculate and process deductions including taxes, benefits, and garnishments
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and wage regulations
Ensure accurate tax reporting and timely submission of filings
Stay current with payroll legislation and implement necessary changes
Utilize ADP Workforce to process payroll efficiently and accurately
Generate and analyze payroll reports for management and audit use
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate solutions with IT or payroll vendors
Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries
Provide guidance on timekeeping, pay policies, and payroll procedures
Identify and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency
Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure smooth data integration and reporting consistency
Qualification
Required
Minimum 8-10 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment (preferably with CA, WA, OR, and/or NY)
Experience in entertainment, retail, restaurant, or related industries with multi locations
Proven experience processing 1,500+ hourly employees bi-weekly (2,000 in current role)
Strong proficiency with ADP Workforce
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred but not required
